Why Order A Nerve Conduction Test?
- Nerve testing used to be a painful and costly ordeal: Now is it a simple, painless and cost effective test that is performed in your office by medical technician.
- Prevent permanent nerve damage: The nerve conduction testing system indicates nerve dysfunction before permanent damage is caused.
- Nerves are invisible: Nerves cannot be seen on X0Ray, MRI or C.T. scans. Testing nerve functions is the only way to know what is actually occurring within the nerve and determine which nerve may cause permanent damage.
- Pain is not always where it seems: Nerves cross-over and interconnect in such a way that pain in one area often originates from a pinched or irritated nerve in a distant area, relatively far from the symptoms.

- To determine the root level nerve irritation or damage, especially in chronic pain cases.
- To help evaluate and substantiate the need for patients with continuous disability.
- To monitor problem cases when there are suspected residuals or disabilities.
- To demonstrate patient's improvement due to treatment.
